Position: IT Support Intern

The IT support specialist intern position is based in our Nyack, NY office. Under the direction of the IT Support Manager, the IT Support Specialist intern will assist the IT support team in maintaining, analyzing, troubleshooting, and replacing computer systems, hardware, and computer peripherals, supporting multiple locations via telephone and remote control software. The IT Support Specialist intern is also responsible for answering calls, emails, and returning voice mails resultant from customer contacts for support

Job Responsibilities
  • Receive and resolve IT trouble tickets logged through call tracking system
  • Assist other IT staff with additional support or projects when needed
  • Assist in Help Desk functions answering phones, e-mails, and tracking issues
  • Resolve front line support issues and escalate as needed
  • Install, upgrade, and maintain IT hardware and software
  • Follows instructions and IT policies to perform functions
Job Requirements
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of support and troubleshooting techniques for the following:

    • Enterprise and standalone Windows PCs
    • Basic network troubleshooting
    • Microsoft productivity software (Office 2010, 2007, and 2003)
    • Active Directory experience is a plus
